What you get

Built to the spec that survives a Calgary winter.

Every job includes the same structural spec, the same reinforcement, and the same permit process.

Honest assessment first
Sometimes the answer is a $600 repair and sometimes it is a full repour. Jeff tells you which, including when the repair is not worth your money.
Repairs that bond properly
Crack injection with structural epoxy, or a bonded topping slab with a proper scarify and primer. A skim coat over dirty concrete peels within a season.
Warranty on the repair too
Repair work carries a written warranty as well. If the fix fails on us, we come back.
How it works

From site visit to finished slab.

1
Assessment visit
Jeff inspects the slab, checks whether the base has failed or only the surface, and identifies the actual cause.
2
Written options
You get the repair option and the replacement option side by side with real numbers, so you can decide.
3
Prep and repair
Cracks routed and injected, or the surface scarified and primed for a bonded topping. Debris and dust fully removed.
4
Finish and seal
Repair finished to match the surrounding texture as closely as possible, then sealed.
Common questions

Concrete Repairs questions, answered.

It depends whether the base failed or only the surface did. Hairline surface cracks and spalling are repairable. If the slab has heaved, settled unevenly, or cracked completely through and shifted, the base underneath has failed and a repair will just crack again.

Crack injection typically runs $8 to $16 per linear foot. A bonded resurfacing topping is roughly $6 to $10 per square foot. Both are far cheaper than replacement – when the slab is a genuine candidate for repair.

Almost always de-icing salt combined with freeze-thaw on concrete that was poured without adequate air entrainment. Water gets into the surface, freezes, expands, and pops the top layer off. A 32 MPa air-entrained pour largely prevents it.

We can address minor differential settling with a bonded topping. True slab-jacking or polyurethane lifting is a specialist trade – if that is what you need we will tell you and point you to someone who does it properly.

A properly bonded repair on a structurally sound slab lasts ten years or more. A repair on a slab whose base has failed will crack again within a couple of seasons, which is exactly why we assess the cause first.
