Most front walks run $11 to $15 per square foot. A typical 3-foot by 25-foot front walk lands around $1,100 to $1,600 including tear-out of the old one.

We can get close on colour and finish, but concrete poured years apart will never match exactly – cement colour, aggregate source, and weathering all shift. Where an exact match matters we usually recommend replacing the full run.

Three feet is the practical minimum. Four feet lets two people walk side by side and is what we recommend for a main front entry.

Yes. Work in the boulevard or across a public sidewalk requires a City of Calgary permit and has to be poured to city spec. We handle the application and the inspection.

Standard is a light broom finish, which gives good traction. For steeper runs or shaded north-side walks we recommend exposed aggregate for extra grip.
